BioFarmind / DVG
BioFarmind is the association representing the interests of the Medical Biotechnology– and Vaccine Industry in The Netherlands. Currently, more than 165 Medical Biotechnology Companies are a member of our organization, ranging from companies in the start-up phase of product development to established companies with products on the market. The Vaccine Industry is represented by the Dutch Vaccine Group (DVG).
BioFarmind is first and foremost a networking organization, which is underscored by the fact that businesses and organizations that are supportive of the Biopharmaceutical Industry are also members of our organization. We invest heavily in organizing (inter)national networking / matchmaking events and also participate in international Biotech / Business meetings where we represent the Dutch Biopharmaceutical Industry.
BioFarmind has established working groups in which members with different areas of expertise can share their knowledge and develop a joint vision to be communicated by the association. Working Groups include Regulatory Affairs, Research and Development, Distribution, Access and Communication, and Public Affairs / Public Relations. The flexibility of our organization and range of knowledge of our members allows us to rapidly form new working groups when current events ask for a quick response to a relevant problem.
Good contacts with both the authorities and politicians are vital in our work. BioFarmind therefore participates in government meetings and organizes informal events where our members can meet politicians and other representatives of the Dutch government and advisory groups.
