Session 8 | Vision Education
14.00 - 15.30 hrs

Education is the motor of our knowledge society. It empowers us with the basic concepts, context and critical skills to be informed citizens and consumers. It equips us for our professional lives and it helps us deal with an ever-changing world. This is especially true for the life sciences. Life sciences play
an important role in manufacturing products,
in cure and care, and nature management and regeneration. Educating young research talent is crucial for the future of life sciences. It will be an ever-changing balance between the demand by industry and academia, and the supply by education and training.
