Utrecht Holdings is responsible for the patent portfolio and various technology transfer activities for Utrecht University (UU) and the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMC).
Utrecht Holdings supports employees of the UU and
the UMC Utrecht with legal services, patents, advice
(Life Sciences and ICT) and starting new businesses.
It has started and invested in more then 30 spin out companies and currently holds equity in 20 companies.
Utrecht Holdings consists of Universiteit Utrecht Holding BV, UMC Utrecht Participaties and the Stichting Incubator Utrecht.
